Richard Fisher
Joins Whitney Group's Global Markets Practice
London, April 18, 2005
Whitney Group,
a global executive search firm serving the financial services industry, is
further building its European global markets practice with the hire of Richard
Fisher.
Mr. Fisher joins
Whitney from Alexander Mann, where he was a director covering fixed income
assignments in the firm's capital markets practice. He previously served as
director in business development at Robert Walters, and as an investment banking
search executive at Dunhill.
Prior to joining
the executive search industry, Mr. Fisher spent 11 years selling rates in
swaps and bonds for firms such as Butlers and Tullets. From his base in Sydney,
Mr. Fisher expanded his business to Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
"With his
business development strengths, Richard will add significantly to Whitney's
growing European business," says Tom Seaden, managing director and head
of Whitney's European operations.
Mr. Fisher's
hire comes shortly after the appointment of Chris Manfield as the head of
Whitney's European asset management practice. Mr. Manfield joined Whitney
in January from Odgers Ray & Berndtson, where he was head of the investment
management practice. |
